Benromach is a Speyside distillery who use a wee touch peat in a lot of their drams to reflect the style of whisky the distillery would have historically made before distilleries became more of a commercial enterprise. Perfect for Speyside fans who fancy a wee trip into the realm of peat but don't quite fancy a full on Laphroaig.
The 15 is a mega rich dram, using a mixture of first full bourbon and sherry casks to mature. Cracked pepper, charred oak, apples, dark chocolate and forest fruits with rich sherry notes of course a wee touch of smoke. Bottled at 43% ABV.
