Adding to the Scottish rum scene is Glasgow’s own rum distillery that boasts to be the first one in 300 years! Using modern distilling technology (you can take a tour and visit their nifty looking still) and molasses as a base. This is a Christmassy kind of rum with a whole host of warming spices. The ginger and orange come to the forefront which then succumb to the other spices in the mix. It’s fantastic with ginger beer and lime juice or in a number of different cocktails. Bottled at 40% ABV.
